thecolourbeige: It’s not to say that the actresses on this cover (and in the folds) of this cover are all beige - a majority of them have turned out amazing performances in the last year. But at its essence this cover is boring. It’s telling us what we already know - that Hollywood is uninspiring, predictable, and forever lacking in diversity, both in age and ethnicity. So no - Rooney Mara isn’t beige (for now) but collectively, as a whole entity, as the representation of what Vanity Fair is telling us is ~HOLLYWOOD~ then… this shit is Cosmic-Vanilla-Egg Cream-Dentist’s Office Walls-Beige. Or, in other words: True Beige.
